HABIMANA Pie is currently a PhD student researching and writing a Thesis in International Tax Law (UR 2015-2019) and holds an LL.B (NUR-2009), an LL.M in Business Laws (NUR-2012) and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (ILPD-2013) and various training certificates like Certificate in Adjudication in Construction industry (by Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Adjudication), Certified Trainer of the Rwanda Institute of Cooperatives, Entrepreneurship and Microfinance (RICEM), Certificate in Adults Teaching Methodology, Certificate in Writing a Research Paper for Publication, Certificate in Investigations, Disputes Settlement and Anti-corruption in public procurement, Certificate in Human Rights, Intellectual Property & Access to Medicines, etc. Since 2010, Pie Habimana actively participates in teaching, research and curriculum developments as full time academic staff of the School of Law-University of Rwanda. Pie Habimana is also a visiting trainer of advocates in post-graduate program at Institute of Legal Practice and Development (ILPD) since 2014. At National University of Rwanda, Pie Habimana served as University Legal Officer during three years (2009-2012). Besides, Pie Habimana is active member of Rwanda Bar Association and East African Law Society and qualifies for CIArb membership. His areas of research interest are Tax Law, Investment Law, Business Legal Practices and Legal Practice.
