Richard KAYIBANDA is an Assistant Lecturer, School of Law, College of Arts and Social Sciences of the University of Rwanda. He is also a lawyer on the roll of Rwanda Bar Association with full authority to practice law in all courts of Rwanda and a Certified Mediator. He is also trained as a trainer of trainers in mediation. He holds a Master’s degree (LLM) in Business Law from the National University of Rwanda as well as an Undergraduate Honors Law degree from the very University. He is a holder of Certificate in Writing Research Paper for Publication conferred jointly by AuthorAid and NUR Research Directorate and Centre for Instructional Technology; Certificate in Intellectual Property and Access to Medicines and Certificate in Law, Human Rights and HIV/AIDS both from Makerere University- Human Rights & Peace Centre. He has published a number of articles and has research interest in private law domain with a specific focus on business law topics.
